On March 22nd we welcome three out of town acts to take the floor at Silverfish: Tongue Depressor + Austin Larkin, House Red and VOSP.

ANA Tongue Depressor + Austin Larkin (@tonguedepressor, @memoryofapastheat) CT This group is building new worlds using old sounds. In equal parts, the performances serve as an excercise in modern minimalism and an exploration of longstanding musical tradition.

As a duo consisting of Henry Birdsey, & Zach Rowden, TD successtully coaxes traditional American "fiddle music" into a realm that is both bleak and magical. The addition of Austin Larkin's sirens only serves to deepen these notions. The trio has a new LP available now via @redscroll VOSP (@eg ) PVD Hybrid synthesis techniques + manipulated field recordings.

rev.web + Mellifer (@rev.web and @apis_malfiore) first time collab between locals Seren and Sam. Separately they have cultivated unique styles that are evocative of the beauty and harsh danger of nature through a wide variety of electronic and analog/acoustic means. We are excited to see what they do together.
